  1. Can I use body cream on my hands?
    Hands may need more intense moisturization as the hand skin is thinner and more delicate. It is also more exposed to environmental / other stressors and repeated washing. Hence the product meant for hands are usually intensely moisturizing and contain more of occlusives and emollients to prevent water loss.
    The body lotions are lighter in texture than hand creams and they are much more spreadable to cover large surface area and provide adequate emollience.

    When you use hand sanitizer, apply your hand cream or ointment immediately after the hand sanitizer dries. Because the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends using a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to kill germs, hand sanitizer can be very drying.
